Campus Party is the world’s largest Internet and technology gathering and it will be taking placefor the fifth time from February 6-12 at Anhembi Parque in São Paulo. In 2011, Sergio Motta Institute was designated to curate its Design, Photo and Video Area, and in 2012, SMI is continuing the partnership and inaugurating the Digital Arts Area.

Recent progress in technology has significantly broadened the range of expression for contemporary creative artists and the Digital Arts area will be a laboratory, space for experimentation and exchange of ideas on the various possibilities of artistic production. Glitch art, streaming, digital cinema, 3D modeling, videomapping, Arduino, “gambiologia” (makeshifting or gadget hacking), demoscene, and more from the world of photography, video, design, animation and visual arts.
