Cultural contest #minhavidamudou: deadline for entries – March 20
To creatively show the impact of technology on our lives, we are holding a cultural contest called #minhavidamudou. Winners will be getting an Ipad, a HDV camera, and other prizes. Fundação Telefônica is organizing the competition, with support from Sergio Motta Institute and portal Terra.

Rooting for a Golden Nica for Brazil
For the second consecutive year, Giselle Beiguelman is a member of the expert jury for the Prix Ars Electronica’s Interactive Art category. The award is recognized as the world’s most important event in the digital art segment and the deadline for entries is March 18.
9th Sergio Motta Art and Technology Awards: prepare your portfolio
The 9th Sergio Motta Art and Technology Awards takes place this year as one of the major initiatives recognizing electronic and digital art work in Brazil and one of the centers for discussion and outreach in this sector. As in the most recent awards, the jury will be evaluating the artists’s trajectories based on their career portfolios. Entries accepted starting in April. Get your portfolio together!
How ISM was involved in Campus Party Brasil 2011
Sergio Motta Institute was in charge of programming for the Design, Photo and Video area in the Creativity zone at Campus Party Brasil 2011. Curated by Renata Motta and Giselle Beiguelman, the area compiled collaborative documentation for the event, as well as lectures, chats and workshops.
